My Record Setup 🛋 A lot of people have been asking where my setup pieces are from, so I decided to make this video. ✌🏻 All products shown were purchased by me. No collaboration. I hope this helped answer some of your questions, and I’m genuinely happy if it inspired some of you with your own setups. 🙌🏽 1. Record Shelf: IKEA - (Model: KALLAX) The KALLAX comes in different sizes and layouts, so make sure to choose the one that fits your space best. 2. Door inserts: are optional and need to be purchased separately. Available in different styles, including glass door inserts and closed door inserts in various colors. 3. Picture Ledge: IKEA - (Model: MOSSLANDA) Available in different lengths and colors. Originally designed for pictures, but works perfectly for displaying records as well. 4. Magazine Rack: IKEA - (Model: KVISSLE) Originally designed for magazines, but works perfectly for holding a few records as well. You can also use it for books, slipmats, or other accessories. 5. Turntable: Audio-Technica (Model: lpw50btrw) Audio-Technica makes great turntables overall, and I’m very happy with my model, definitely recommend it. Very easy to use and also a solid option for beginners. 6. Amplifier: Technics - (Model: SA-DA8) This amplifier was passed on to me a few years ago. It’s quite old, but it still works perfectly and delivers excellent sound quality. I’m not sure if this exact model is still available, I couldn’t find it online, so it’s most likely only available used, with newer models replacing it. 7. Speakers: BOSE - (Model: ML4 BLK) I got these speakers together with the amplifier back in the day. They’re quite old by now, but still work flawlessly and deliver great sound quality. I couldn’t find this exact model available new anymore, most likely only available used, with newer models on the market today. 8. LED Lights: GOVEE I picked these up on Amazon. There are tons of different options available, from LED strips to panels and floor lamps. 9. Decor: A bit of everything, collected during my travels. I hope I didn’t miss anything. Throwback alert 🚨 Let's rewind back to 2020 when Teenage Engineering collaborated with IKEA to release a cool speaker set with some lighting boxes to bring life to a party. Under the name FREKVENS, the collection had portable speakers, tripod to add components as well as some home decor which had other designers involved into. I was lucky enough to have the speaker set which uses bluetooth and has a built-in battery so it can freely be placed where you want as well as the LED spotlight and multi-use light which has different design/lighting options that react to the beat of the music playing.
