2024년 평단의 극찬과 함께 신스팝 밴드 ‘막달레나 베이’ 커리어에 정점을 찍은 앨범 [Imaginal Disk]. 앨범 Imaginal Disk는 이마에 디스크를 삽입해 인간이 되는 법을 배우는 ‘True’라는 캐릭터의 초현실적인 서사를 다루고 있습니다. 그리고 이 거대한 세계관의 말미에서 막달레나 베이는 앨범 내내 유지했던 SF적인 가면을 벗어던지고 실제 창조주인 매트와 미카로서 청자 앞에 섭니다. 고등학교 시절부터 10년 넘게 연인 관계를 이어온 실제 주인공 미카와 매튜.
