Ice Bath tips for full submersion. This was a 7 minute ice bath. 5 full submersions. Over one minute under the ice. I don’t suggest 7 minutes to people with little experience or without intentional training with deliberate cold exposure. I have 13 years experience. Be smart 🙏 Listen to your body. I felt I needed it, that it would benefit me, and I feel great after. The point of this post is to encourage trying out dipping your head fully under at the beginning to adjust to the cold faster, dip in the middle or the end for more benefits. I never feel better mentally than after an ice bath where I dunk. This is part of my usually daily practice of 2-3 minutes in the cold. I dunk on my way in, and dunk on my way out. Once I started doing this, I’ve never changed it. I feel much more uplifted, positive, and it honestly makes doing the cold easier now. I look forward to it most days. When I wouldn’t dunk, sometimes I’d have to grit thru the 3 minutes. Now it’s more of a coast and enjoyment and the after effects are the proof in the pudding 🍨. #icebath #deliberatecoldexposure #wimhofmethod #coldshower
