Most of my students that sign up for my courses are subject indexers. The index is the only way most instructors teach. Pick a keyword from the question and hopefully you get the right one and you get the reference fairly quickly and move on. Usually those that use the back of the book method are good with terminology. I was not one of those. It was never consistent. The back of the book is a great way to find answers if you don’t know the code book and where things belong. It’s a guessing game. 🤷🏼‍♂️ What alot of code instructors don’t teach is the simplification of exam questions. Most questions give you clues in the questions that specifically tell you where to go!!!💪👏🏽👏🏽 I call it the primary and secondary. Most questions are work like this: primary/secondary Primary is the Thing The Question is About (Article) Secondary is What about that Thing! (Part #) Once you understand the Table of Contents, you will understand where that Thing belongs and What about that Thing the question wants!!✔️✔️ Article question takes you to the Chapter it belongs on Go to Chapter , find Article then look at the Parts!
