Drawing with a grid. I usually only use this method now for the more complicated pieces, but I remember when learning this was super helpful (plus repetition daily!) . If you’d like to give it a try, I’d be happy to send you the grid I use. Comment or message me letting me know 😊 With a grid this size, I typically outline in pencil a few of the grids just to keep track of rows. Once you have those guidelines it helps with the loose sketch process (just figuring out lines and getting use to how proportions work). Give it a try and let me know how it works! 🙏 Drawing tip: When using a grid, I’ve found it more beneficial to use the smaller rows and columns because it breaks the image down in smaller sections .
