UPDATE: we had noise cancelling headphones in the bag in case we decided to get close enough to need them (hands over the ears was just an instinctive thing even though we were far away from the music, which you can see in the video). He also had mineral sunscreen, sunglasses, goggles, a UPF 50 bucket hat, an umbrella for shade, was in air conditioning during the hot times of day, and was smiling, cooing and giggling the whole evening. I only decided to bring him after it had rained for 4 days straight, leading to a hard-packed playa with minimal dust. Annnd we brought a mask as well just in case.
