“Irish curls” have you heard this one before? I hadn’t… and I’m actually Irish and have been cutting curly hair for over 20 years. But I have to admit, it’s a great way to describe those curls that are curly underneath and straight on top. Here’s how I encourage curl definition through the straighter areas. I applied @innersenseorganicbeauty foam and gel to soaking wet hair to form clumps. Rake and shake the clumps to create definition. Scrunch to create a gel cast. Diffuse upside down using my current favourite tool, the @cloudninehair dryer and diffuser. And if you’re really boujee like me, you’ll have a Dyson on the floor to speed up the drying time! Reason 3: you’re breaking up your curls too early. Make the curly family while styling, and separate them once it’s DRY! this leaves them in a uniform ringlet.
