Want to be more reactive and explosive? 💥 Start jumping. 3 simple plyo jump drills to boost explosiveness + reactivity👇 • Split Jump/Djerbakis • Step Up Jump • Tuck Jumps Add these jumps into your sessions and become super explosive 🧨 #SpeedTraining #Plyometrics

Why I progress split squats → single-leg hops • Explosive power — builds force where jumping and sprinting actually start • Better acceleration — stronger first step and cleaner speed mechanics • Unilateral stability — fixes side-to-side imbalances • Full-body coordination — upper and lower body work as one • Injury resilience — stronger joints, better load tolerance • Vertical jump carryover — strength that transfers, not just looks good • Game-ready strength — single-leg power that shows up in sport Strength first. Then speed. Then plyometrics. CTA: 👉 DM “COACH” to train smart and progress injury-free #running #plyometrics #strengthandconditioning

🔵 SQUAT JUMPS 🔵 ✔️ Jump from parallel or just above ✔️ Keep a strong trunk The squat jump is a popular exercise done by pretty much everyone but can be often seen performed inefficiently. Squat jumps are a great exercise. I talk about and use these as more of a power-based movement. Exploding out of the “hole” with control, utilising a strong drive through the hips. It can be easy to perform these without much thought though, especially when done in high repetition during classes. We can sink into that hole and pretty much collapse at the bottom which will not only reduce the effect of the movement, but can look painful to watch and over time can be painful to perform too! So yeah, get some power and control into those squat jumps and maximise this ace exercise 💥 #squatjumps #squatjump #squatchallenge #squatjumpchallenge #techniquetuesday #techniquematters #hybridathlete #athletetraining #training #bodyweighttraining #bodyweightexercises #bodyweightworkouts #bodyweightfitness #hiit #hiitworkout #plyometricstraining #plyos #squatssquatssquats #fitness #hiittraining #runnersworld #runningstrength #strengthforrunners

You’ve been doing squat jumps all wrong; and here’s why. 👇🏻 When executed correctly, your arms play a critical role in both propulsion and deceleration. As you drive upward, your arms should swing up to help generate vertical force. As you land, they should come down to help control and absorb impact. Mastering this coordination not only improves height and control; it also reduces your risk of injury. Move smarter. Train with purpose. Want to elevate your movement? ⚡💪 #calcio #preparazioneatletica #pliometria #allenamentocalcio #performance

Watch this to learn how to do knees to feet jumps (or body-ups as I sometimes call them) in under a minute. Whenever I post videos of this exercise, at least one person always asks how to work up to them. It’s not an easy exercise and definitely requires a lot of explosiveness and coordination. You can work on all of the elements, practice putting them together, and try the regressed versions, but at a certain point you do just really have to go for it 😊 Let me know if you give any of these drills a go and if it helps!

I figured out how to jump like the Massai tribe. I worked these movements consistently: - External Bow Wall Sit ISO Hold - Deep Squat Soleus Raises - Bow Internal Wall Sit ISO Hold - Seiza Rockers - Squat to Hinge Literally I have not lifted weights in weeks other than pushed a sled a bit, and have never felt more effortless spring in my life.
