In the middle of Diwali preparations, I found a very easy way to embrace my love for lippan art which I recently discovered on Internet without a lot of hassle. Instead of spending too much time on perfect rolls, I had a brilliant idea and created a beautiful rangoli in just two hours. The secret? I used Macrame jute thread instead of the usual materials, and the twists of the macrame thread added the perfect texture to lippan art. I grabbed an MDF round for my rangoli and two types of petals from a local vendor. Then, I sketched my own design on them. The result? A unique lippan art piece that perfectly captured the Diwali spirit. Blending traditional art with a modern twist made this project incredibly satisfying and visually appealing.
