🤖 요즘 가장 핫한 AI 코딩 에이전트는!? 얼마 전까지만 해도 바이브 코딩에는 Claude Code가 최고라고 했었는데, 세상이 너무 빨리 바뀌다 보니 요즘은 이 친구가 최고 자리를 뺏은 것 같습니다. 이 친구의 이름은 바로바로 Codex! OpenAI는 언제쯤 로컬 에디터에서 GPT를 coding agent로 쓸 수 있게 해 주려나~ 하고 있던 차에 드디어 Codex CLI, 그리고 Codex Extension이 나왔습니다. GUI보다 CLI가 더 익숙할 정도의 코딩 고수님들은 어차피 제 영상에 관심이 없을 거기 때문에, 저는 그냥 VS code에서 Extension을 설치해서 사용하는 걸 보여드리겠습니다. 뭐 사실 딱히 설명할 것도 없는데, 그냥 VS Code에서 Codex Extension을 설치하면 됩니다. 그러고 나서 OpenAI 로그인만 해주시면 바로 사용이 가능합니다. 아래에 모델을 보시면 그냥 gpt도 있고, gpt-codex도 있는데, gpt-codex가 코딩에 필요한 능력들을 강화학습한 모델이기 때문에 굳이 뭐 plain한 gpt 모델을 쓸 필요는 없겠네요. 다른 coding agent들의 UI와 달리, 처음 설치하면 기본적으로 에디터의 왼쪽에 codex가 뜨는데, 폴더 구조나 커밋 내역을 보는 게 불편하다고 느껴지시는 분들은 그냥 우측으로 드래그해주시면 됩니다. Codex가 나름 강조하고 있는 부분이 Codex 클라우드인데, ChatGPT 계정만 있으면 로컬 환경과 클라우드 환경을 오가면서 어디서든 작업을 할 수 있다고 합니다. 심지어 스마트폰 앱으로도 개발을 할 수 있다고 하니까…. 이제 출퇴근하는 지하철에도 놀지 말고 코딩하셔야 할 것 같습니다. #codex #vibecoding #openai #chatgpt
