day 5 of training in korea <3 #korea #kpop #training #idol #ditl #korean #trainee #singing #dancing #singer #dancer

For those who don’t know, I started doing K-Pop auditions in 2011– at 13 years old. I took dance, vocals, and acting lessons all throughout my school years and continued doing auditions. I tried to move away from K-Pop once I graduated from high school, and worked towards becoming a professional dancer…but I wasn’t happy. So in 2020, I decided to give it one last try and spend time training in Korea until 2021. After over 10 years of trying to fit into a mold that only made me feel unworthy…developing body image issues, low self-esteem, and a mindset that meant my dreams would always be locked away— while companies and executives held the keys, I ended 2021 defeated. In 2022, after recovering from that difficult time, I decided to focus on my artistry and who I am as a person. I wanted to create my own path as a singer-songwriter who loves to express themselves in Korean. This year helped me lay the foundation for so many good things to come— I really can’t help but look forward to 2023! So yeah, I’m an independent K-Pop artist…and this is only the beginning of my new journey, but I love it here 🤍

🎤 K-POP auditions are complicated — we offer free consultations to help you navigate them. “Isn’t it enough to just sing well?” No. That’s not how it works in reality. A typical K-POP audition usually includes: ➡️ Round 1: 30–90 second video or in-person evaluation ➡️ Round 2: Travel to Korea, camera tests, paperwork, and visa checks ➡️ Final Round: Performance, personality interview, and group chemistry evaluation (In some cases, the second and final rounds may be conducted together.) ➡️ Then: Contracts, E-6 visas, and structured training All of this? Only people who understand the process prepare properly. Even now, professionals actively working in the K-POP entertainment industry are sharing the real audition standards used behind the scenes. Instead of practicing blindly, start by understanding where and why most applicants get cut. 👉 Free audition consultations are available via the link in our bio Follow · Like · Save ✔️ #KpopAudition #KpopVocalCoach #IdolAudition #KpopVocal #kpoptraining
