This year hasn’t been the same without Kyrie on the court 😭🙏 #nba #basketball #explore #kyrie #year #injury #highlights #fyp

Tried to copy Kyrie for 3 years and couldn’t figure out why it didn’t look right. Watched the same clips. Ran the same drills. Still looked stiff, still got picked up at half court. Took me forever to realize I was copying his moves — but missing the 3 things underneath them that actually make him Kyrie. Once I locked these in, my handle finally started looking different 👇 1. Dribble on your heels when you size someone up This is the secret nobody talks about. When Kyrie is sizing you up, he’s not on the balls of his feet ready to attack — he’s relaxed back on his heels, weight neutral, looking like he’s bored. That posture is exactly why he’s so dangerous. Defenders can’t read which direction he’s going, and from that “lazy” stance he can fire any way he wants. Most guards stay tense and forward — and a tense guard is a predictable guard. 2. Overexaggerate every position Kyrie doesn’t play in the normal range — he plays in the extreme range. Bent all the way over. Ball behind his butt. Head below the defender’s hip. When you live in those exaggerated positions, your moves stop looking like “moves” and start looking like a glitch. Most guards hesitate at 60% of the position. Kyrie hesitates at 110%. That’s the whole difference. 3. Learn to float the ball This is the move that took me the longest to feel. When Kyrie hesitates, the ball doesn’t slap the floor — it floats. It hangs. And the key: it’s NOT a carry. The wrist stays mostly on top. He’s just controlling the hang, not scooping under it. Once you learn how to float the ball without crossing into a carry, your hesitations finally start selling. Save this. Train it slow first. Then add tempo. Kyrie wasn’t playing, yet still played the role🥀😭 — Cooper Flagg is already viewed as one of the best young prospects in basketball, and for good reason. He’s an elite two-way player who impacts the game on both offense and defense at a high level. At around 6’8” with great length and athleticism, he can guard multiple positions, protect the rim, and make hustle plays that change momentum. Offensively, he’s not just a scorer—he can handle the ball, pass, and play within a team system, which makes him very versatile. What really separates him is his motor and basketball IQ; he plays hard every possession and makes winning plays without needing the ball all the time. For his age, he’s incredibly polished, and many people already see him as a future NBA star and potential top pick. #cooperflag #nba #kyrie #basketballedits

Born on March 23, 1992, in Melbourne, Australia, Kyrie Irving is currently sidelined for the remainder of the 2025-26 NBA season as he completes a long-term recovery from reconstructive surgery on his left ACL. The injury, which occurred in March 2025 during a matchup against the Sacramento Kings, initially left a window open for a late-season return, but the Dallas Mavericks officially confirmed on February 18, 2026, that the nine-time All-Star would be shut down to ensure he is “1000% healthy” for a championship pursuit in the 2026-27 campaign. Before the injury, Irving was performing at an All-NBA level, averaging 24.7 points and 4.6 assists per game, and his absence has been deeply felt by a Mavericks squad that has struggled significantly without his backcourt leadership, currently sitting at 19-35 and pivoting toward a high lottery pick in the upcoming draft. Despite being away from the court, Irving remains a central figure in NBA discourse, recently using his Twitch livestreams to provide fans with spiritual and physical updates on his rehabilitation process while expressing gratitude for the organization’s continued support. His off-court influence is further solidified by his recent three-year, $119 million contract extension, a deal that keeps him locked in as a franchise pillar alongside young star Cooper Flagg for the foreseeable future. As he nears his 34th birthday, the narrative surrounding Irving has shifted from immediate on-court production to his legacy as one of the greatest ball-handlers in history, with fans and analysts alike eagerly anticipating his return to form next fall to see if he can recapture the “wizardry” that has defined his fifteen-year career#kyrie #kyrieirving #nba #mavs #anthonyedwards

Happy Birthday to Kyrie Irving 🤞🏾♾️ He turns 34 today. Handle like art and a layup package that doesn’t make sense, he is one of the most skilled scorers the game has ever seen. Kyrie Irving is one of the most skilled and creative guards in NBA history, known for his handles, finishing, and ridiculous shot-making under pressure. He entered the league as the No. 1 pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers and quickly became an All-Star, pairing with LeBron James to form a championship duo that peaked in the 2016 NBA Finals. His defining moment came in Game 7 of that series against the Golden State Warriors, when he hit a step-back three over Stephen Curry in the final minute—one of the most iconic clutch shots ever. That single bucket helped secure Cleveland’s first championship and cemented Kyrie’s legacy as a cold-blooded closer. After Cleveland, Kyrie had stints with the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets, where his game continued to shine despite injuries and off-court noise. Now with the Dallas Mavericks, he’s still one of the most dangerous isolation scorers in basketball. What makes Kyrie unique is his control of pace and creativity—he can finish with either hand, hit impossible layups, and break down any defender one-on-one. When the game gets tight, few players are more confident or unpredictable. #kyrie #nba #explore
