Lander Wyoming! A great place to visit with the family in Wyoming. We camped in Sinks Canyon State Park for $15 a night. It was way access to Sinks Canyon and Popo Agie Falls. The road to the mountain was not open at the time of our visit. Sinks Canyon- Named for the Sinks where the Popo Agie River vanishes into the limestone cavern and reappears a quarter mile down the canyon in “the rise” Castle Garden Petroglyph Site- the site features hundreds of petroglyphs that are up to 1,500 years old. Popo Agie Falls- 3 mile round trip hike that is suitable for most families.

A little climbing area we’d never heard of before we reached the US, a couple of people recommended we visit so we added it to our list. The wildflower meadows surrounding Wild Iris took our breath away, they were just so beautiful 🥺 The town of Lander was full of cute little coffee shops and restaurants, which was a real treat after spending almost a month in the middle of nowhere!
