I had my microblading lasered off on Monday and I am so happy with my decision! I went to Neoderma in Anaheim @ocskinexperts and had an amazing experience! Were my eyebrows bad before removal? No. The shape was great but they were coming in a bit too much to my liking and the saturation of the pigment made it look blocky. I have oily skin and apply my skincare products on my brows daily so my microblading has been blurry for years. I also spend a lot of time in the sun so they have always been grey looking. I am very lucky to have this much natural brow hairs to work with and I understand that it’s not the case for everyone. But if you feel like your brows aren’t looking natural anymore, getting an extra touch up to get fresh strokes is NOT the answer. It’ll look good at first but keep in mind that it only further saturate the pigment into the skin, making it fuller session after session. Removal is a great way to have everything removed and start fresh if you want to. The reality is, permanent tattooing and microblading has come a long way over the years. Techniques have evolved, better products are available to artists, and overall experience has taught us the dos and donts. I was playing in a big money match and I accidentally lasered the trees behind the pin and sent my golf ball into the out of bounds.. ending up losing the match by 1.
