Corporate training isn't about collecting certificates - it's about proving you can influence behavior and drive real change. But the right credentials open doors fast 🚪 ㅤ Certifications that actually matter: ㅤ 1. Foundational credentials - ATD's CPLP or SHRM certifications signal to Fortune 500s that you understand adult learning principles and can build programs that deliver results, not just presentations. 2. Facilitation and coaching platforms - Get certified in systems companies already use like Dale Carnegie, FranklinCovey, or Gallup StrengthsFinder. You become immediately deployable because they've already bought into these frameworks. 3. Strategic add-ons - Change management certifications like Prosci turn you from just a trainer into a strategist. Corporate training almost always gets bundled with transformation work - own both sides. ㅤ The professionals who actually win in this field don't just stack certifications and call it a day 🙅‍♀️ ㅤ They demonstrate impact through their work and use credentials as credibility accelerators. ㅤ Comment ELITE for my newsletter on building careers in corporate training and L&D 📩 ㅤ #corporatetraining #learninganddevelopment #certifications #careeradvice #training #facilitator #careerchange #professionaldevelopment #careergrowth #executiverecruiter #eliterecruiter #careerstrategy #ldprofessional

The secret to learning faster👇🏽🏆💯 Use THIS learning strategy to quickly and easily score top grades in every subject 🧠 Did you know that you don’t have to be book smart to learn how to learn faster! A few years ago I discovered that most of the study techniques you’re using are proven to be INEFFECTIVE? 🤯 I’ve taught over 22,631 Students and this is the learning strategy that’s worked time and time again and is also scientifically proven to get the best and fastest results every time 👇🏽 Save this for later and comment “Smart Skills” to get access to all of the proven strategies to help you succeed ❤️ You can LEARN FAST with the strategy of SPACED RECALL ✅🧠 Use these 3 steps to apply spaced recall to learn fast and score top grades 👇🏽 1. First create short summary notes of what you need to learn, the foundation of learning fast begins by first understanding at a basic level what you need to know! 💡 2. Second review your study notes, then without looking back attempt to either write down a summary of your notes on a blank sheet of paper or teach someone else from memory! 🧠 This isn’t easy but it builds your memory and your learning speed! 3. Then review in increasingly long intervals to both save time and cement knowledge into your long term memory! ✅💯 Max used Spaced Recall to go from 41% to 100% in maths in just 4 weeks after working with me! Yes it’s that important to your grades!! 2,729,454

🧠When children are exposed to open-ended play, their brains begin to operate differently. This type of play activates core areas of development that are fundamental for life, not just for school. Through open-ended play, children naturally develop essential 21st-century competencies, including: 👉🏼Creative and divergent thinking 👉🏼Imagination and innovation 👉🏼Collaboration, teamwork, and cooperation 👉🏼Leadership and autonomous decision-making 👉🏼Conflict resolution and negotiation 👉🏼Executive functioning: including planning, cognitive flexibility, emotional regulation, and working memory These are not isolated skills. They are foundational abilities required for navigating a complex, changing world. And yet, children access all of them through play. No adult-led instruction, no rigid curriculum. Just play, open-ended, unstructured, and intrinsically motivated. So why do we still restrict play within our educational systems? Why do we continue to prioritize memorization and passive learning, when neuroscience tells us play is the brain’s most natural and powerful way to learn? If we want to prepare children for life, not just for tests, we must reimagine how learning happens. 👉🏼👉🏼Comment RETHINK if you’re ready to explore a new way forward. My Master Class on Play-Based Education will guide you through the intentional design of learning environments and strategies that place these life skills at the core. Most people think stacking certifications will get them a corporate training job. ㅤ Then they wonder why nobody's calling 🤷‍♀️ ㅤ Credentials open doors. But what actually gets you hired is proof you can already do the work. ㅤ How to actually break into corporate training 👇 ㅤ 1. Create a training sample - Don't wait for permission. Design a 20-minute workshop on something you know cold - leadership, communication, project management. Deliver it to a small group and record it. That's your proof of concept. 2. Partner internally if you're already employed - Volunteer to run lunch-and-learns or onboarding sessions. These side projects are how trainers get spotted and pulled into formal L&D roles. 3. Make your facilitation visible - Post teaching clips on LinkedIn, run free webinars, share your frameworks publicly. When HR leaders see you teaching, it shortcuts the entire trust-building process. 4. Network with decision-makers, not recruiters - Your real audience is HR directors, L&D leaders, and department heads who control training budgets. Reach out directly, share your samples, position yourself as a resource. 5. Anchor your personal brand - Connect your certifications directly to measurable training outcomes. When your positioning is crystal clear, titles follow naturally. ㅤ Breaking into corporate training isn't about waiting for the perfect job posting. It's about demonstrating you can already do the work, then getting paid for it 👏 ㅤ Comment ELITE for my newsletter on breaking into high-demand corporate roles 📩 ㅤ #corporatetraining #learninganddevelopment #careerchange #careeradvice #training #facilitator #ldprofessional #careerswitch #professionaldevelopment #careergrowth #executiverecruiter #eliterecruiter #careerstrategy #jobsearch

I had a friend in university who got straight A’s in our premed classes without looking like he was trying. I realized he was just really efficient with his studying when I decided to study with him. It was mentally demanding and high intensity studying. When he went through material he actually was learning and retaining it. This was the same strategy he was using. Read a paragraph, say it out load without looking at the text what you just read until you hit all of the points, then write it all down on paper in the simplest way possible. Then once it’s all done. Try to teach it out loud to someone. Even have them ask questions. Now, have your kids do this with you to learn something new of their choice to earn money. When they teach it to you and you ask questions, afterward, give them money. They are learning how to learn. Then teach them how to spend that money well.

For students who struggle with these skills, direct instruction is necessary to help them understand how and when to use them. 1. Use “think-alouds”: Narrate your own thought process when planning a lesson, solving a problem, or managing an emotion. This gives students a concrete example of how to apply these skills. 2. Practice with real scenarios: Use real-life situations to discuss problem-solving. For an older student example, discuss how a student could manage their time to study for a test and still attend a social event. 3. Encourage self-reflection: Periodically ask students to reflect on their own behaviors. For instance, “What was distracting you during that lesson, and how can you refocus next time?”. A lot of this work is SEL focused — so you can connect this instruction within any of your core instruction, during morning circle, or during 1-on-1 student conversations. #teacherlife #thesidesofteaching #dayinthelifeofateacher #teacher #teachersofig #teachersofinstagram #teachertips #executivefunctioning #classroommanagement
