i did 1,345 leetcode questions 🤖 kidding! i did 200 and got nvidia + microsoft offers. here’s exactly how i prepped without annihilating my social life. 1. learn patterns first, not problems. i went through 16-24 patterns using grokking the coding interview and spent 2-4 hours on each one before touching a single question. 2. my prep breakdown was 50% neetcode, 30% grokking, 20% system design and behavioral. don’t skip the last 20%, it matters more than people think. 3. 20 hours of mock behaviorals with friends and family. it was embarrassing but it worked. look up the UMPIRE method. 4. the goal is pattern fluency, not problem memorization. in the actual interview you won’t remember 1000 problems. you need to recognize what type of problem you’re looking at. comment “interview” and i’ll share my full resource list 🫶 #computersciencestudent #techinternship #softwareengineering #computerscience

📌 Resources I Used to Crack Google! Firstly, Google interviews consists of only DSA for SDE roles. System design is reserved for Senior SDE roles and above. Resources: 1. 🥇 LeetCode: The absolute must. I personally used LeetCode Premium to get a flavour of past Google questions. 2. 🧠 CSES Problem Set: Essential for adding that competitive programming ‘flavor’ needed for the trickier questions . 3. 🗣️ Pramp for Mock Interviews: For real-time interview practice. 4. 📖 Medium blogs: For past google interview experiences [helpful for how to deal with edge cases and hints given by interviewer etc] 💰 Tip: Can’t afford Leetcode Premium? I found links with compiled lists of company-wise past questions! Comment ‘LINK’ below if you want me to share those! Also, let me know what topic you want me to cover for the next video! If you’re struggling with LeetCode, this video is for you 🙌 When starting out, it can be overwhelming, like it was for me. You may feel like you’ll never get the hang of it. “How will ever get a job if I can’t even solve the LeetCode easies?” But don’t be discouraged, this is just the first step of many. Hopefully these resources help you in your journey! 😌 #leetcode #computersciencestudent #careerintech #softwareengineer #cs

This is your sign 🥹💖 In my previous post about Leetcode, someone told me about Neetcode, so I watched it and found it super useful ! You can watch Neetcode on YouTube, he even solve leetcode problems daily on his secondary channel! I also did some research by myself and got resources to learn DSA, and shared with you how I use them <3 Hope these will help in your coding journey, and don’t forget to not use AI to get the solutions too early 😭 <tags> [coding, programmation, computer science, informatique, student, computer science student, coding project, leetcode, neetcode, coding roadmap, coding resources] #codingtips #leetcode #computersciencestudent #studentsuccess #studytips #womenintech #codingisfun #codingchallenge #codinggirl #studentlife

At Google, we look for Problem Solvers. 🧠🏢 Solving 500+ LeetCode problems won't save you if you can't handle the core patterns. If you're interviewing for an L4/L5 role and struggle with these specific questions, it’s usually an immediate "No-Hire." The Google "Must-Solve" List (Top 20): LRU Cache (The classic System/DSA hybrid) Word Ladder (BFS on graphs Median from Data Stream (Heaps) Course Schedule II (Topological Sort) Trapping Rain Water (Two Pointers/Monotonic Stack) Longest Directory Path (Strings/Stacks) Number of Islands (DFS/Union Find) Alien Dictionary (Graph/Topological Sort) Merge K Sorted Lists (Priority Queues) Sliding Window Maximum (Deques) Binary Tree Maximum Path Sum (Recursion) Wildcard Matching (DP) K Closest Points to Origin (QuickSelect) Find Redundant Connection (Union Find) Meeting Rooms II (Sorting/Heaps) Longest Increasing Subsequence (DP/Binary Search) Word Search II (Tries + DFS) Robot Room Cleaner (Backtracking) Smallest Range Covering K Lists (Heaps) Random Pick with Weight (Prefix Sums/Binary Search) My Advice: Don't memorize the code. Master the Pattern. If you can solve these, you can solve 90% of what we throw at you in a real interview.
