Feeding my leopard gecko a large hornworm! 🐛🦎 And no, this isn’t too large of a prey item for him. As an adult leopard gecko, he handles hornworms this size perfectly well as part of a varied, balanced diet, with zero struggle or issues. Many of you probably didn’t even know I own a leopard gecko… so consider this his official reveal 👀! Some time ago, I took this little guy in from a rehoming situation, and it wasn’t all butterflies and rainbows. He required surgery, a carefully managed diet for some needed weight loss, and plenty of care and affection, but I’m happy to say he’s doing incredibly well now!
