6 steps to save a life with @resuscounciluk 👇 1️⃣ Shout for help and shake the person gently to check for a response.  2️⃣ Call 999. Put the phone on loudspeaker and tell them you are with someone who has collapsed and is not responding. 3️⃣ Look and listen for signs of normal breathing. 4️⃣ Start chest compressions. Interlock your fingers and start chest compressions twice per second. Don’t stop. 5️⃣ If a defibrillator arrives, switch it on and follow the instructions. 6️⃣ Continue CPR until: - the AED asks you to pause while it reanalyses and gives another shock if needed - a paramedic arrives and tells you what to do - the person shows signs of life.
