The Bali Government has approved and executed a $5 million USD project to dig into copious amounts of limestone and build an access road and seawall on the reef around the cliffside that hosts the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple in Uluwatu, Bali. A crack was discovered in the cliff underneath the temple so in order to protect the temple, this is their plan and as of Tuesday August 27th 2024 this is their progress. #jktgo Source: Indo Eye

A waterfall inside a marble cave? This is Trollkirka («Troll church») cave in Norway! Trollkirka is not a conventional church as many might think but consists of three exciting marble and limestone caves with underground streams and waterfalls. Trollkirka (484 meters above sea level) comprises three marble and limestone caves. The lower cave is about 40 meters long in an «S-shape». Here, you enter a beautiful waterfall that falls 14 meters down into a white marble pool. Safety info: Mountain or waterproof shoes are recommended for this hike due to water inside the caves and sometimes wet trail conditions. Bring good flashlights or headlamps for each person to see optimally when inside the caves. Enter at your own risk. Location: Just 25 minutes from the Atlantic Road, you can experience enchanting nature and receive a fantastic reward upon arrival.
