It began innocently enough five years back, during the pandemic. I just wanted to try Arch Linux for fun. Next thing I knew, I was three distros deep, spending nights reading Arch Wiki like it’s holy scripture, and tweaking dotfiles I barely could understand. Then came the real struggle kernel updates that decided my drivers were optional, audio that didn't worked and i was like where's my Wi-Fi. I spent hours editing config files, convinced i was optimizing things, only to discover I just locked myself out of my own desktop environment. I learned the hard way that half of Arch is installing the OS, and the other half is fixing the thing you accidentally created while customizing. Ssomewhere between experimenting with a new window manager and trying to save two seconds off boot time, I broke the system so badly it wouldn’t even boot into a TTY. And of course, instead of restoring a backup like a person, I reinstalled Arch from scratch because apparently that’s part of the ritual knowing i had no any other options. It was super frustrating, but honestly, I learned a lot and kinda enjoyed the thing. I don’t really feel like using it anymore for general use.

How to Install Linux in Windows: How to install Linux in Windows? Search for Powershell and Run as Administrator. Type in the following command wsl dash dash install. This will install Ubuntu operating system in your device. Restart your computer. Once logged in to your windows, the ubuntu command prompt will open and request for user name and password. Once entered close this dialog box and search for WSL and open it. now type the following command lsb_release -a and press enter. This will show that you have latest version of Ubuntu Installed. Open your browser and type Kali.org and click on Download button. Click on WSL which is Windows Subsystem for Linux. Click on Microsoft Store. This will open the Kali Linux app in Microsoft Store. Click on Download. Once done, enter a username and password to use the Kali Linux. Type the following command lsb_release -a and press enter. Arch Linux and black arch linux. Whats the difference? Archlinix is a built from scratch distribution. It focuses on customization and personalization as well as privacy. Black art is the cybersecurity flavor of it. It has all of those things plus a huge arsenal of 2,000+ cybersecurity tools. Pro tip, people usually install the normal arch and then install parts of black arch so they can have a more customized workflow. (This is what I recommend.) This is one of the few Linux distributions where you can be, secure, private, and powerful all at the same time.
