TWO SPOTS JUST OPENED UP ON THIS TRIP! In collaboration with @galapagossharkdiving I will be offering a scuba diving expedition in the Galapagos Islands August 20th-27th 2025! The Galapagos is one of the most special places I have been so far in my diving travels and I cannot wait to share this adventure with you. On this trip you will be given presentations about shark science, shark behavior, conservation, and diving in the Galapagos! And you will learn how, as a recreational diver you can still collect data and help assist in ongoing research projects. You will have me and another onboard scientist @jennygalapagos available to answer all of the questions you have so you can learn everything you want to on your journey. AND all proceeds from the trip will be donated to @galapagos_whale_shark_project to help support the amazing work they do to research and protect the whale sharks local to the Galapagos Islands. Sharks, dolphins, & giant mantas! Oh my! Islas Revillagigedo (aka Socorro) did not disappoint! This was my first live aboard experience & being that far from land & I couldn’t have been happier out there doing 4 dives a day to see the beautiful marine life this area has to offer. This island chain is a marine protected area & I hope videos like this show the value in creating MPAs. There’s so much life & abundance possible when we protect the ocean. Looking back at the Last time We were in Socorro back in 2021, I found this moment I had almost forgotten, a humpback whale mum and calf playing with a Bottle nose dolphin during the safety stop of one of our dives.
