Quick tip for cladding

For cladding the shed, we decided to go with some classic tanalised Shiplap tongue and groove boards. A popular option for garden sheds as it looks great and the unique rabbeted joints allows the boards to overlap and interlock tightly. This helps to keep the moisture out when installed properly. It’s also well priced in comparison to other cladding options, such as Loglap or some hardwood alternatives. Tanalised timber is typically softwood that has been pressure treated with preservatives to protect against rot, fungal decay and wood boring insects. Making it ideal for long term outdoor use. Satisfying Cedar Cladding Install 👌 Using PAR Cedar board to clad this Garden room Each board has 8 mm gap before the next The metal brackets were custom made to fit in between the gaps So they had to be positioned perfectly to fit. TIPS: To prevent warping of logs, do not open packages until ready to assemble. Keep the package off the ground and cover it to prevent water damage.
