Getting straight to the point, the problem with this controversy is that it hides under an undoubted rhetorical force an almost total ABSENCE of argumentation and a serious logical ERROR. This argument is also often reformulated as: "you believe X because you were taught so as a child..." ✌️ Two problems. Such a statement postulates that no man is free, growing up, to evaluate the opinions formed during childhood. Which is nonsense and does not take into account the hundreds of conversions of convinced atheists. As a child I learned a lot of things and notions, for example about the Holocaust. Growing up, I met Holocaust deniers but it was research and in-depth study that made me decide whether what I believed was false or true. ‼️In short: if the source of a belief is reliable, then it becomes irrelevant at what age we started believing in it‼️ 👉 While it is true that religions are inserted into history, like human beings, and are therefore distributed in space, this does not affect the validity of one faith compared to others nor the freedom of man to travel, learn and convert. It is true that often those born in a land tend to adhere to the cultural and religious system present there, but the question...stops there. Deducing that all religions are false...is a logical forcing between two unconnected facts, a fallacy called “NON SEQUITUR” (A is not followed by B, there is no connection).
