Living in Lombok as a practising Muslim is not just about beaches or lower living costs. It’s about understanding visa pathways, realistic monthly expenses, Muslim-friendly areas, safety, masjid access, and what daily life actually looks like in a Muslim-majority environment like Indonesia. Many people come to Lombok relying on tourist blogs, Google searches, or random advice online. This often leads to choosing the wrong area, overspending, and unnecessary stress after arrival. Lombok Direct was created to give clear, structured, and honest guidance before you come. • One-to-one consultation calls with @abdullahthenomad covering visas, budgeting, where to stay, and real on-the-ground insights • Downloadable Lombok guides based on real experience, not theory • Proper enquiries for airport pickup, drivers, tours, and rental connections in Lombok Whether you’re planning a Muslim-friendly holiday, a long stay in Indonesia, or seriously exploring hijrah to Lombok, clarity before arrival makes a huge difference. Good preparation protects your time, your money, and your peace of mind. 🗨️ Comment “Direct” and I’ll personally send you the Lombok Direct link.

Why Lombok? Because hijrah, for us, was never about chasing a perfect country or comparing endless options. It was about finding a place where Deen feels natural, supported, and woven into daily life. When we arrived in Lombok, the clarity came quickly, not through luxury or lifestyle promises, but through how easily our family could live with intention. What mattered most was raising our children in an environment where Deen isn’t something you constantly protect or explain. A place where salah is normal, modesty is understood, and Islamic values are part of the rhythm of everyday life. Parenting feels calmer when you’re not fighting the environment, and worship feels lighter when the surroundings remind you of Allāh. Lombok offered us that balance, simplicity, community, and space to live our Deen without resistance. For families considering hijrah, the question isn’t always which country looks best on paper, but where your deen, home, and children can grow with peace. ✨ Follow @inshirah.active to see more about Hijrah life in Lombok, Indonesia. 🧕 Reel featuring staff from @lugnacoffee and @ayam_square

Here's my initial thoughts of Lombok, Indonesia 🇮🇩 I recently posted a new video, where I interviewed Mufti Menk! Comment the word "Mufti" to watch the full video

From 2 months to 2 years… LOMBOK ENG/ We already knew we were fans of Indonesia, but falling this hard for life here? Definitely not part of the plan 😅 Sunrise surf sessions, warungs on every corner, endless rice fields, scooters everywhere, and the kindest people. Lombok truly has it all. And honestly, it feels a bit like coming home. With an Indonesian mom and a solid dose of Indo upbringing, everything here feels familiar. Just a shame it’s 10,000 km further away 😉 One thing’s for sure: we’re far from done exploring. There’s still so much to discover not just in Indonesia or Southeast Asia, but even right here on Lombok. We keep stumbling upon new places, and this island never stops surprising us. #explorelombok #lombok #indonesia #wonderfulindonesia #kutalombok #exploreindonesia #lomboktrip #lombokisland

The must-dos in northern Lombok ✨ 🇬🇧. We really enjoyed the northern part of Lombok. It’s very wild, and the nature is beautiful. Here are some places not to miss: - Mount Rinjani 🌋 - Tiu Kelep waterfall 🌴 - The traditional village of Senaru 🛖 - Bukit Selong and its agricultural fields 🥕 - Rinjani rice fields 🌾 We hope this will make you want to visit Lombok. It’s much more authentic and less touristy than other islands in Indonesia. 😍 ————————— 🇫🇷. 😍 📍Lombok, Indonesia

These are the 12 reasons why we are planning to move to Lombok In shaa Allah 🔜🇮🇩 ☪️ 90% of the population is Muslim. We can practice our Deen in a better way. 🕌 There are over 8.000 mosques on the island and you always hear the adhan. 🌿 Beautiful nature. Lots of empty white sandy beaches, rice fields and waterfalls. 🍜 We love the Indonesian friendliness, culture and food. 🧕🏽 We can raise our future kids in an Islamic environment/school. 🫂 Not too touristic and easy to connect with locals. 💰 Cheap living, easier to survive. 🛣️ Good infrastructure, you’re never stuck in traffic and there is an international airport. ☀️ Blue skies with 30 degrees and not too humid. 🛒 In the capital Mataram there is a shopping mall, large supermarkets and even a cinema. 🍴 Lot’s of halal food options. Local Indonesian food, but also Western restaurants around Kuta. 🤲🏽 We can contribute to the ummah through education or charity. When moving to another place or country? Which things are important for you? #halaltravelasia #halaltravel #hijra #lombok #movetoindonesia #hijrajourney #muslimcouple #muslimfriendly #moving #muslimtravelers #lomboklife #newchapter #emigration #indonesia

5 reasons to visit Lombok instead of Bali 1. Adhan 5 times a day: Lombok has a strong Muslim culture, and you can hear the adhan (call to prayer) echoing throughout the island 5 times a day, providing a unique cultural experience. 2. Less traffic problem: Compared to the crowded and congested roads of Bali, Lombok has much lighter traffic, making it easier to get around and explore the island. 3. No overtourism: Lombok has not experienced the same level of mass tourism as Bali, so it offers a more relaxed and authentic experience without the crowds and over-development found in some parts of Bali. 4. Pristine nature: Lombok is home to stunning natural landscapes, including pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and the majestic Mount Rinjani volcano, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities and nature appreciation. 5. Cheaper destination: Lombok is generally more affordable than Bali, with lower prices for accommodation, food, and activities, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. #halaltravel #halaltrip #muslimtravel #halaltour #halaltourism #travel #travelhalal #muslimtravelers #wisatahalal #muslimtour #umrah #halalfood #halal #travelblogger #wonderfulindonesia #wisatamuslim #wisatahalaldunia #muslimtraveler #umroh #wisatahalalmancanegara #muslimtraveller #halalholiday #opentriphalal #alhijazlondon #balionefamily #travelterbaik #visitbali #packagetourinbali #halaltours #hajj
