I am both celebrating and mourning... My book is finally released. It's based on 7 years of data and I analyzed close to 3000 pieces of data to write a book that I hope will make a generational imapct. As my dear sis @laylafsaad said in a voice note to me this morning, "You have made your contribution. You have contributed your good ancestorship." 💚💚💚 And while I'm happy about stewarding #innerfieldtrip over these past few years, I'm also grieving the loss of my plans. Six weeks before the launch of my book, I was hit by a distracted driver while I was driving. The impact of the hit totalled my car and created some injuries that I'm still working through. I had to prioritize my physical and mental health over the past few weeks, putting all book launch activities on hold. I'm thankful that I can be here to celebrate the launch of my book AND I'm sad about the plans that I had to abandon. Grief is not just about the loss of people, it's also the loss of anything important to you. ✅️You can hold joy and grief at the same.time. ✅️You can be aware of conflicts around the world and hold space for yourself. ✅️You can mourn the loss of what was and anticipate what's to come. If you go through the @innerfieldtrip you'll find that you will build the capacity to hold space for the complexity of your emotions. Compassion does not need to compete with itself. 💚

I am so lost for words! My heart is heavy! This month has been 💔🙏🏽 Renee was a beautiful and special human being!! She was such a Queen and always made everyone feel like royalty. I will miss her consistent love, her friendship, her presence! I was her TeeTee!! She was the first person to ever interview me 12yrs ago on her radio broadcast. When I arrive she had a my first banner made for me with all of my contact info on it! I felt like such a celebrity in my moment! Branding was everything for her and she was like “I got you girl”! It was such a surprise and warmed my heart so, that she thought that much of me! Sweet Renee @thepeoplesemcee left this ole world peacefully surrounded by love! Grateful to Marcella, friends and family who honored her and served her until her beautiful eyes closed for good! Thank you God for allowing us this time with her.. Her legacy will live on in my heart forever! Rest Pretty Queen! Her Favorite Photographer and sister @fondmemories1 1 of her favorite makeup artist and little sis me! 🙏🏽❤️🥰🥰
