We tried the cutest little science experiment today and his reaction was EVERYTHING 😍 Simple, quick, and sooo fascinating for little minds 💡 Try this at home and watch their eyes light up! All we did was fill a glass with water, spray a little perfume on an earbud (cotton bud) and dip it in… and whoosh — so many tiny bubbles started coming out! He was staring like it was pure magic ✨ But guess what — it’s not magic, it’s SCIENCE 🧪 The cotton tip traps tiny air spaces, and when it goes into the water, the liquid pushes the air out, which shows up as bubbles. I still can't believe I actually got to meet @chemicalkim in person! Not only is she an amazing scientist, but also one of the most interesting and kind people I've ever met. Together, we decided to try one of the most exciting demonstrations: the methane bubbles! This is a combustion reaction — methane burns with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water. Why don’t we get burned? The layer of water and soap on our hands absorbs the heat and protects us. Plus, methane is a very light gas, so the bubbles rise up immediately!
