This is how I transfer my stitches from 9-inch circular needles to magic loop when I knit my socks! No need for finicky slipping stitches. All you have to do is knit (or purl) the stitches onto the new needle! How to add new color in the round ❤️🖤 To change colors in knitting, cut the old yarn leaving a tail, then introduce the new color by creating a loop on the needle and knitting the first stitch with the new yarn. Continue knitting with the new color, and weave in the loose ends later. To ensure there no gaps and securing the new color without a knot, I use the twist method to weave in the old color as I’m adding the new one.
