We are thrilled to have Anna Grace back for her second year as a summer intern at the Minneapolis Fed. Anna is a rising senior at @stolafcollege, majoring in quantitative economics and political science, with minors in business and management studies, and statistics and data science. This summer she is working with the Center for Indian Country Development. After graduation she is interested in pursuing a career in economic analysis and policy implementation. Outside of work she enjoys traveling (she has been abroad twice!), spending time outdoors, playing frisbee, and doing puzzles. Fun fact: Anna has a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo.

1. I got my private pilots license at 18, and I am working on my Instrument Rating! 2. My favorite movie is Little Women, but I had never watched it until March of last year. 3. Math is my favorite subject, and I am majoring in Accounting. 4. Musical Music is my favorite genre to listen to! 5. On the same note(no pun intended), I was in band for 7 years, and I played the clarinet. 6. I am an only child and extremely close with my parents. 7. My love language is gift giving! One of my favorite things is to both give and receive the perfect gift. 8. I have been a floater friend for the majority of my life. I have a lot of friends in different areas of my life, but not a big friend group. 9. I have lived in 8 different places over the 18 years I have been alive. 10. I am allergic to cats.

It’s National Intern Day, and EOED intern Ella is taking over our Instagram! Ella, who is heading into her senior year at UMass Amherst majoring in Political Science and Communication, is giving us a behind-the-scenes look at her day as an EOED intern: “As an intern, no two days are the same. I work on a mix of drafting and editing press releases, social media posts, talking points, and quotes for our leadership team. We also have weekly Lunch and Learns, which are a great way to explore other divisions and sectors within EOED. During these sessions, we enjoy lunch while hearing from leadership and fellow interns about their work and experiences.
