Read Caption⬇️ freelance Makeupartists !!! . . So being a freelancer makeup artist i usually travel to client’s venue for makeup. Sometimes clients wish to come to my place for xyz reasons. Sometimes they wish to meet me in person for booking, sometimes they wish to come to me for trial session, sometimes they want to get ready at studio not at the venue for certain reasons. Also people who live near by my location they prefer coming to studio for their makeups. . . Considering all this i decided to utilise one room of my flat as my work station ( makeup studio). Intially it was just a empty room with my vanity table, makeup chair, some lights and a shoot background. One day I decided to do transform it into a professional makeup studio, so me and my brother did my studio makeover all by ourselves. We bought most of the things online and some through our local market. And you can see the result it turned out to be way more than our expectation. Isn’t it aesthetically pretty 🎀 ?? What do you think? . . So my advice to my fellow makeup artist would be you should also make your studio at home. We are creatives.. we can do it!!! It will help you to do your makeup shoots easily.. you can do client makeup at your home. . . Bold circles, semi-circles, and subtle curves blend smoothly with a beige palette and striking golden accents, making the design exceptional in its segment. Neutral Color Scheme: I went with neutral walls and decor. It not only keeps the space looking clean and spacious but also helps your work pop without distractions. Mirrors: A large, high-quality mirror is a must! You need one for your client to check their look, and it helps you see your work from every angle. Storage: Organization is everything. I invested in clear storage bins, drawer units, and makeup organizers to keep everything from brushes to products neatly in place. A clutter-free space will help you stay focused. Makeup Chair: A comfortable, adjustable makeup chair is essential. Make sure it’s both stylish and ergonomic for those long sessions. Backdrop: If you’re filming or taking photos, a simple backdrop can elevate the entire look. Extras: Don’t forget small touches like candles for a welcoming vibe, a couple of plants for greenery, and a sound system if you want to set the mood. Building your home studio doesn’t have to break the bank—it’s about creating a space that works for YOU and helps you bring your best to every client.
