How I shoot makeup videos with my phone 🎥 Pro tips - Shoot product videos in the start or after your done filming your makeup video - 2x and 3x works best for product and application shots - while editing, reverse few of your product shots, it looks super cool 😜 - I was filming the bts so I had another phone in front of me, so it was easy to see the video frame, it’s 10x easier if you have a mirror placed in front of you. “Good makeup can still look bad in bad lighting.” After 14 years of glamming brides, one thing I’ve perfected is my lighting setup. Not just to apply makeup but to make sure it looks the same in photos as it does in person. Bad lighting can make makeup look washed out, overly bright, or completely different than what the artist actually created. My goal is always to capture my work as true to life as possible, because my Instagram is my portfolio. When a bride sees my page, I want her to know exactly what my work looks like in real life. That way there’s never a moment where a client says “I don’t look like your Instagram page.” Good lighting allows me to: • See true undertones while applying makeup • Blend complexion products seamlessly • Prevent makeup from looking washed out • Capture photos that reflect the real result Because the goal isn’t just beautiful makeup it’s honest consistent results.
