Hello, Rosie! - - I haven’t made a cosplay for myself in a long time! And while it was really tiring and anxiety inducing and sensory overloading, I also had the most amazing time interacting with fellow Hazbin enjoyers and admiring all their amazing cosplays at SGCC!! Rosie was a bit of an indulgent project. I wanted to practice pattern making, ruffle some lace, wear a corset, and use pretty embellishments while staying true to her original design. Her colours are all mauves and pinks, no true reds or dark reds like the rest of the Hazbin cast, so getting accurate fabric colours was a challenge. But I also wanted to give her a bit of flair with some silver highlights. Metal rose buttons, skull charms, and silver rose lace had to be incorporated tastefully. Her hat and belt definitely need a little more razzmatazz ✨ Making her a mask was a personal choice inspired by all the fanart that made her seem so doll-like. I was aiming for renaissance/baroque but I think I landed more Venetian with my painting style. It was modified by cutting 2 identical thick plastic masks and hinging them at the jaw with elastic cord. The teeth are by @dental_distortions because I was originally going for the makeup route so I repurposed them for her mask I will eventually go into more detail in my WIP stories and highlights but for now, I’m taking a break from crunching her out in less than 3 weeks Infinite love and appreciation to @aviantese for all the support I could ever ask for 🖤 See you all again soon, cannibals and cannibettes! 🫀 #rosie #hazbinhotel #hazbinhotelcosplay #hazbinhotelrosie #cosplay

Legs for days! 🦵🏻 Look how big these HUGE legs for my seikret are compared to me 🤣 Absolutely love the scale of this project (no pun intended) 🦖 I think the scale-making technique turned out so good and though I almost went crazy burning them all, I can definitely see myself using the technique for another project in the future 😄 How do you think they turned out? ITS ALMOST 2026!! And one day early, I have my next cosplay project! I am making a “Ribbon Showgirl” with a design based off of the classic 1960s Vegas showgirls, made entirely out of ribbons! I am so excited to bring this to @anime_los_angeles ! This is a project that has been brewing for about a year, and is made to be a love letter to the cosplay community, and of course RIBBONS!! On my person I will be carrying little pieces of so many amazing people I have been able to meet through cosplay, as well as plenty of ribbon donations from my friends!
