Here’s Part 2: Landing Your First MNC Job – Secrets They Don’t Put on Job Portals (Think of this as your underground toolkit—the stuff you only learn from trial, error, and being behind the scenes.) ⸻ 1. Create a “Lucky List” (yes, really) Write down 20 companies you actually want to work for—not just “any job will do.” Then find one person in each company to connect with. You’re no longer job hunting—you’re relationship-building. 2. Don’t apply first. Warm up first. Cold applications = black hole. But when you warm up a connection before applying (through a coffee chat or comment on LinkedIn), your resume gets seen by real humans, not just the ATS. 3. Reverse-engineer job posts Take 3 job listings you love. Highlight the common keywords + skills. Now build mini-projects or a short case study to prove those skills—even if it’s self-initiated. This is how you build proof, not just paper. 4. Host a virtual event (power move) Crazy, but true: I once hosted a mini Zoom panel for students + professionals on “Careers in X field.” Guess who showed up? A manager from a company I was eyeing. We’re now connected. That door is open forever. 5. Set traps, not goals Instead of saying “I want a job at Google,” say: “I’ll post 1 career story/week, reach out to 3 people/week, attend 1 event/month.” That’s a trap for opportunity to walk into. Goals depend on luck. Traps create luck. 6. Leverage ‘creator privilege’ When you post helpful or honest career content—even once a week—you stop being a random stranger. You become visible. And visibility is magnetic. People reach out to you with roles, collabs, or referrals. ⸻ Truth? You don’t need to be perfect. You need to be persistent, visible, and just 10% bolder than yesterday. This is your reminder: job hunting isn’t begging—it’s positioning. Follow me for more behind-the-scenes strategies no one’s teaching—but everyone’s using. ⸻ #google #gartner #microsoft #freshers #mnc #jobs #consultant #tech #viral #fyp

One of my biggest questions is “how did you become a product manager with no “traditional PM experience?” A few things: 1. Having “product manager” experience does not just mean having this title at a different company. You can get skillsets of being a PM in so many different ways (I was an entrepreneur) and spoke to that. I actually think this will set you apart. 2. All of the major tech companies (Google, Lyft, Uber, Airbnb, even finance companies) have these insanely competitive niche programs called RPM or APM which are product bootcamp programs. These are INCREDIBLY hard to get into, but these are an injection point to getting into product faster aka having a senior role & making a lot of $ at a young age. 3. DO YOUR RESEARCH! I spent so many hours even finding these programs, then reaching out to people for advice, then interviewing everyday. I pretty much locked myself in a room for 3 months to prep. I never had an adult holding my hand telling me what to do, or even telling me about these programs & I always felt like these were gate kept among the “elite.” Which is why I enjoy educating people about them especially my followers who are low income & first gen backgrounds 🫶🏻 3. I have more on my page and TikTok (playlist RPM) where I talk about my journey and more advice, let me know more questions in the comments 💖 #productmanager #rpm #apm #rotationalproductmanager #productbootcamp #postgradadvice #fyp

Day (92/100) If I had 30 days to land a Product Management job: 1. Pick one PM role type (B2C / B2B / 0→1 / Growth) no confusion. 2. Reverse-engineer 20 job descriptions and note repeated skills. 3. Rewrite my resume tailored to those exact skills. 4. Build 1 strong end-to-end product case study (quality > quantity). 5. Turn that case study into a clean Notion/portfolio page. 6. Create a strong “Tell me about yourself” pitch (2 mins max). 7. Write answers for top 10 behavioral PM questions. 8. Prepare 5 product sense answers (favorite product, improvements, etc.). 9. Practice 5 metrics/analytics scenarios (north star, funnels, etc.). 10. Pick 2 products and do deep teardown analyses. 11. Start posting insights from these teardowns on LinkedIn. 12. Optimize LinkedIn headline + About for PM roles. 13. Add portfolio + case study links to featured section. 14. Send 10 personalized connection requests daily. 15. DM recruiters/hiring managers with context, not “Hi”. 16. Ask for referrals with a crisp, respectful ask. 17. Apply to 10–15 relevant roles daily (quality filters). 18. Track every application in a simple tracker. 19. Follow up after 5–7 days (most people don’t). 20. Comment meaningfully on PM leaders’ posts daily. 21. Turn comments into visibility → profile visits → inbound. 22. Do 3 mock interviews per week (peer or mentor). 23. Record yourself answering questions—fix clarity + structure. 24. Refine resume every week based on rejections. 25. Build 1 small side project or PRD (execution proof). 26. Prepare strong questions to ask interviewers. 27. Learn to structure answers (CIRCLES / STAR frameworks). 28. Block 3–4 hours daily—treat this like a job. 29. Stay consistent for all 30 days—no breaks in momentum. 30. Focus on interviews booked, not content consumed. (Land a pm role, prepare for product manager role in 30 days, no paid courses, no random learning) #productmanager #interviews #job #learn
