The interview mistake most candidates make at the very end!

The interview mistake most candidates make at the very end! 🚩 You've answered all their questions brilliantly. The interview is wrapping up. But if you walk out without explicitly stating why you want THIS job and why you're the perfect fit, you've missed a crucial opportunity ❌ Many candidates assume: • Their enthusiasm is obvious • Their qualifications speak for themselves • The interviewer already knows why they're a match But leaving these things unsaid is a huge risk! The final moments of an interview create a lasting impression. Before leaving, make sure to clearly articulate: • Why this specific role and company excite you • How your experience directly addresses their needs • Your enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute This simple strategy ensures you leave the interviewer with clarity about your interest and fit - exactly what they need to advocate for you in hiring discussions 🌟 Comment "ELITE" below for more interview techniques that get results! 💼 #executiverecruiter #eliterecruiter #jobmarket2025 #profoliosai #resume #jobstrategy #interviewtips #jobsearch #interviewtechniques #careeradvice #jobinterviews #hiringprocess #interviewprep #interviewskills #jobhunting #interviewquestions #careergrowth #jobseekers #interviewsuccess #professionaladvice

Never say no when the interviewer asks, "Do you have any questions for me?" Questions show you’ve done your homework. Asking the right questions gives you an opportunity to understand the job better and to reiterate your experience. Good questions explore culture, growth, and impact. Employers respect candidates who interview them back. Smart questions = stronger first impression. Here are the 3 questions worth asking at an interview 1. What are some of the biggest challenges the team is facing right now, and how would this role help to address them? *When you understand the challenges the team is facing, you can reinforce skills as a solution. 2. What do top performers in this role do differently *When you understand what it takes to succeed in the role, you can highlight moments in your experience that add value. 3. What resources are available to support employees during times of high workload? *This question gives you an idea of the company cultural especially when it comes to handling stress and burnout. @advicewitherin 😅 Why are the simplest questions often the hardest to answer!? [Comment or DM “INTERVIEW101” for resources!] Ugh, I hate how this question is low-key lazy. Like isn’t the whole interview about why you should hire me? Of course, my positive side is saying, “no, this is a great opportunity to give your elevator pitch + set the tone of the interview!” That’s why I developed this 3-part method for answering this question: 1. Hard Skills (technical aspects of the job you know how to do—softwares, processes, systems, certifications, trainings, education, etc.) 2. Soft Skills (personality, character & interpersonal strengths—proactive, collaborative, organized, leadership, etc.) 3. Unique Offering (what do YOU bring to the table that no one else does? This can be a great way to spin not directly-relevant past experience as a strength) ‼️ But the MOST important thing? Repeat the job description back to them. 👨🏻‍💻 ESPECIALLY if you’re interviewing with a recruiter (as opposed to someone from your future department). ✔️ Recruiters aren’t experts in what you do, so they listen for keywords to check boxes The job description is a roadmap! Use it to design your answers. You got this! 👏🏼 #job #jobinterview #intern #interviewtips

⬇️ Two things hiring managers hate in job interviews.

1️⃣ They hate it when you can’t answer basic questions about yourself. You are the only person that can answer questions about you so you need to prepare and practice standard interview questions before the interview.

2️⃣ If you go into an interview not knowing anything about the company, the hiring manager or the job you are setting yourself up for a tough interview. 📌Interviews are easier when you have done your research. And prepare great questions to ask. 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for 3 Impressive Questions to Ask in any Job Interview

Two interview questions to immediately impress any hiring manager. If you want to stand out, ask the questions that show you think like a high performer. 1. “What is the biggest challenge the team is facing right now, and how can I help solve it?” ✅ This signals that you’re not just looking for a job, but you’re focused on impact. ✅ It shows initiative, problem-solving mindset, and that you’re already thinking about how to add value on day one. 2. “How can I go above and beyond in this position?” ✅ This tells them you care about excellence, not minimum expectations. ✅ It shows ambition, ownership, and a commitment to outperform the role, not just fill it. 💡 These two questions instantly separate you from every other candidate. If you want to stand out in an interview, ask this question

If you want to stand out in an interview, ask this question at the end. Most candidates ask safe questions about the culture or career development. They don’t tell you much. Instead, ask this: “You’ll meet plenty of people who can do the job. In your view, what does a high performer look like in this role?” Then stop talking. Here’s why this works. First, it gets them talking from their own perspective. Hiring managers rarely get asked this, so you stand out. Second, you get insight into what good actually looks like. Not the job spec. The behaviours, mindset, and working style they value. And third, it gives you a natural way to position yourself. Once you’ve heard their answer, you can link it back to your own experience. You’re not selling yourself. You’re showing alignment. That’s what makes you memorable. Save this video, it’s one of the best questions you can ask in an interview. A job interview starts the second you walk into the office.

A job interview starts the second you walk into the office. The most important thing to do is creating a good impression, and the best way to do that is making it conversational. Almost every time, the hiring manager would start with the question “How are you?” While most people would say “Good and you?” without thinking, I want you to share just a little bit more about how you feel. Here are some examples. “I’m doing great. I took a jog this morning and had a nice breakfast. Now I feel fresh and excited about the interview. How about you?” Or “I’m doing great. I’ve been wanting to learn more about this role at your company, and I’m super excited to be here today. Thank you for taking the time. How’s your day been?” The point is you want to make it conversational so you can build a great rapport with the interviewer from the start. And everything else would only get easier once you set the right mood. I’ve created a list of 10 questions you can ask the hiring managers to build great rapport. Comment “10” and I’ll send them over. #interviewtips #interviewskills #interviewprep #interviewpreparation #interviewskills #interviewquestions #jobseeking #jobsearching #jobsearchtips

A question that can make or break your interview... “How do you handle failure ot setbacks in a project?” This question reveals your resilience, accountability, and ability to learn. What you should do: ✅ Take accountability for your role in the setback. ✅ Highlight how you analyzed the situation and took proactive steps to resolve it. ✅ Share what you learned and how you’ve applied those lessons to avoid similar issues in the future. What to avoid: ❌ Blaming others for the failure. ❌ Claiming you never fail—it sounds unrealistic and lacks self-awareness. ❌ Focusing only on the problem without discussing solutions or growth. Employers value problem-solvers and team players who grow from challenges. Use setbacks as an opportunity to shine! Save this so you can answer this interview question easily. #CWL #CollectiveWomensLeadership #TheCollectiveLeadershipMethod #interviewquestions #interviewquestion #interviewtips #interviewquestiontips
