Driving up to the Adelaide Hills was well worth it for this magical spot @marshis_kitchen Firstly… hellooo, the gorg interior and skylights, are you kidding? It made me feel like I was dining inside of a glasshouse. It’ll be even better when we get deeper into autumn and all the trees turn orange and red!!! Now about the food. They mostly focus on contemporary Australian dishes but there are some dishes with a Sri Lankan twist to pay homage to Marshi, who is the chef/owner. I’ve said many times that brunch isn’t really my thing, so I went with some not-so-classic brunch dishes, including chicken baos, lamb roti and prawn scramble. Honestly LOVED all of these dishes (yes, even the eggy dish) but my fave was the lamb roti. The meat was dripping in juicy flavours and all of the components went so well together. Plus, it was all wrapped up in roti. I f**king love roti. (Also, please laugh at my friend mistaking me for saying ‘take a bow’ instead of ‘take a bao’.
