Let’s make some matcha 🍵 Matcha has been a major contributor in balancing my hormones and aiding in my overall health journey. I personally like to use Hikari matcha powder from @matchaful , but any pure, high-grade powder will do. If it’s a lower-grade matcha, you’re more likely to get that bitter (icky) taste. When you whisk the matcha, make sure to use warm — not boiling — water. Boiling or too hot of water can burn the matcha and also lead to that bitterness. Combine the matcha powder with any plant-based milk! I like coconut milk because it’s typically easier on my gut, given it tends to have less sugar. To sweeten naturally, I recommend maple syrup, coconut sugar or monk fruit sweetener. I also like to add the adaptogen lion’s mane because I truly feel like it majorly helps my ADHD and focus.
