Maxine “Max” Mayfield is a major character in the Netflix series Stranger Things, introduced in Season 2 as a tough, skateboarding tomboy who moves to Hawkins, Indiana, from California. Romantically, she develops a relationship with Lucas Sinclair, marked by ups and downs, including breakups and reconciliations.
