Capital One Tower is the tallest occupied building in the Washington metropolitan area at 470 feet (143 m) in height and the second-tallest building in Virginia. Ground was broken on the tower in November 2014 and it was completed in 2018. It is the headquarters of Capital One. Day 3: DMV Adventures ✨ Great Falls Park in McLean, VA What a beautiful spot! The waterfalls were stunning, and there are so many trails to explore, each offering a unique view of the falls. This park is perfect for a day out with friends and family – they even have grills for a picnic or cookout! Kid-friendly Free parking $20 per vehicle $10 per person (non-drivers) Wear comfortable walking shoes Visitor Center Restrooms available Make sure to wear sturdy shoes as some of the viewpoints require a bit of climbing. There are restrooms throughout the park, but the one at the visitor center closes at 4:30, so plan accordingly. There’s also a snack stand with hot dogs and other treats (I didn’t manage to get a pic of it). Plus, they have accessible trails for those with mobility needs – my nephew loved being able to enjoy the trails in his stroller! Overall, a fantastic experience. 10/10!

Approximately 100 yards from parking lot. The view from up there can allow one to see Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
