If you’re like most modern photographers, you probably use the big back screen to take your photos. It’s easy, it’s bright, and it’s what we’re used to from our phones. But the second you try to use the Viewfinder (the little eye window), everything looks like a fuzzy disaster. 😵‍💫 Next to that eye window is a tiny, ridged wheel called the Diopter. I call it the viewfinder focus wheel 🤷🏻‍♀️ The back screen is for everyone. The Viewfinder is JUST FOR YOU. 👓 Because everyone’s eyesight is different, you have to “tune” that little window to your specific eyes. If your kid or a friend uses your camera, they’ll probably spin it to fit their vision—leaving you in a blur!
