Mushroom Ghee Roast - 4M + Views Mangalore special dish You will fall in love with mushrooms eating this sabzi, I have balanced the flavours pretty well in this recipe coz traditional mushroom ghee roast is very high on spices so I have mellowed it down a little as per our taste buds Ingredients: Mushrooms 1 packet -200 g Ghee - 3 tosp Kashmiri Dry red chillies - 5 ( note if you taking normal dry chili remove seeds of few of them so that it’s not spicy) Coriander seeds - 1.5 tsp Fennel seeds - 1.5 tsp Black pepper - 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1.5 tsp Tamarind paste - 1-2 tsp Salt to taste Soaked cashews - 6-7 Or melon seeds -2 tbsp Garlic cloves - 5-6 Ginger - 1 small piece Curry leaves - 1 sprig Coriander leaves garnish Water as required 1/2 tsp jaggery optional 1/4 cup curd Preparation method: 1. Soak dry red chilies and cashew or melon seeds in hot water for 15 minutes. 2. Dry roast coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin, seeds, and black pepper until aromatic. Cool down and keep aside. 3. In a blender add roasted seeds, soaked chillies and cashews, ginger and garlic, Tamarind paste and add water to make fine paste. 4. Heat a table spoon of ghee in pan and add chopped mushrooms. Sauté them till all moisture evaporates, keep aside 5. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan and add ground masala paste. Fry until it separates from pan. Add water as per consistency and salt per taste. Cook. Add sautéed mushrooms and curry leaves and cook for 1 minutes on low flame. Add cuts cook 2 minutes more and adjust consistency with water Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. 6. Do a taste test and enjoy Mushroom Sabzi

Seals have one of the coolest and most flexible sleep styles in the animal world. Because they split their lives between land and water, they’ve evolved different ways to rest depending on where they are. On land, they usually sleep like most mammals, lying on beaches or ice, completely relaxed, often in groups where they can stay warm and alert to danger. In the water, though, things get far more interesting. Many seals use a technique called unihemispheric slow-wave sleep, where only one half of their brain sleeps at a time while the other stays awake enough to swim, breathe, and watch for predators. This allows them to drift, bob at the surface, or slowly paddle without fully waking up. Some species even take short “cat naps” underwater before rising for air. Their ability to switch sleep modes helps them survive in constantly changing environments. Whether they’re sprawled out on a sunny rock or floating just below the surface, seals manage to get the rest they need without ever being completely vulnerable.
