It’s available on file options A4, A0, and projector! It comes with written/photo instructions and a video sewing tutorial! Skill level varies. If you’re using a cotton or linen type, you could make this as a beginner with some sewing under your belt! If you’re using an organza or chiffon, it’s more of a confident beginner/intermediate. It’s been a few years since I’ve sewed a dress for myself, so to get back into it, I chose this beginner Rossi Wrap Dress pattern from New Zealand designer @theboldone_ . I was a little bit skeptical of whether a dress pattern with no zipper closure could fit well, but I was pleasantly surprised. It took me about six hours to make. I was so excited to finally use this @rileyblakedesigns fabric that I’ve had in my stash for years. It’s called “Jane Austen’s House” and mimics the feathery floral prints of the Regency era and has cute little gothic ruins in the print. #sewing #sewistsofinstagram #theboldone #memade #memademay

It's #memademay go forth and have a go! My mum always says if you can follow a recipie, you can sew your own clothes. And she's not wrong! If you buy a pattern with good instructions, and you're willing to give it a go, you absolutely can learn this skill. Sewing used to be a domestic skill that everyone had- not being able to sew on a button would be the equivalent of not knowing how to make a cup of tea. You really can achieve shein quality on your first try, and by the end of the year? M&S quality! Or higher! 😂😂 when youve made your own clothes I promise you will love them SO MUCH more than any clothes you can buy in the shop.

Machine embroidery has been on my list of hobby must try’s for far too long. So I was super ecstatic when pfaff agreed to loaning me one of their embroidery machines. It’s definitely an entirely different level of sewing, but after @motters gave up her morning to pass on her knowledge of mysewnet I am officially off and of course I am OBSESSED! I of course had to get straight stuck in to doing my own designs, I have so many ideas and it’s so much fun!
