4 reasons why you need a mentor in 2026 Over the past 3 years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring final-year law students—helping them bridge the gap between campus and career with practical work-readiness tools. In my work as a Human Rights & Tech Consultant, Business Analyst, and Product/Project Manager, I keep seeing the same thing across NGOs, startups, and tech teams: people grow faster when they’re guided. Mentorship is often the difference between “having potential” and “using it with clarity, confidence, and strategy”-especially in the human rights, policy, and digital innovation space.
