We fell asleep in a tree… 🌳 and woke up to birdsong, just 1h30 from Paris.  No cars, no long travel times.  Just a train, a centuries-old oak… and a breakfast basket pulled up by pulley! 🧺 📍From Gare de Lyon, take the R line to Fontaine-le-Port stop. The treehouse is located at Grange Saint-Martin, 39 rue de la Coudre, 77590 Fontaine-le-Port The next morning, we were already back at Gare de Lyon,and just 5 minutes away on foot from the trees and calm of the Coulée Verte René-Dumont 🌿 Then, feeling hungry,we headed to one of our favorite hidden gems with a leafy terrace: 🍴 Hôtel La Fantaisie restaurant (9th arrondissement) 📍24 rue Cadet, Paris 9e, easily reached from Daumesnil or Gare de Lyon (lines 1 + 7) ✨ Proof you can truly escape city bustle… without leaving the region.  📌 Save this idea for your summer in Paris, and tell me : had you heard of these places? . . . Cette nuit-là, on s’est endormis dans un arbre… 🌳et réveillés au son des oiseaux, à 1h30 de Paris seulement.  Pas besoin de voiture, pas besoin d’aller loin. With a 1st class ticket on the EuroCity Transalpin (EC 163 towards Graz, EC 164 in the opposite direction), you can end up in a Swiss panorama carriage (from the Gotthard Panorama Express) with very large glass windows that reach almost to the ceiling. You simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the alpine scenery rolling by. 💡 How to book this 1) Go to the ÖBB booking page: https://shop.oebbtickets.at/de/ticket 2) Search for a route on EC 163 / EC 164 (for example Innsbruck → Schladming).
