This tool isn’t out yet but I got a sneak peek! The articulating arm on this 12” miter saw allows it to be right up against the wall saving tons of space compared to a traditional miter saw. I just have a 10” in my shop and many times wish I had gone with the 12” for being able to cut taller baseboard, crown, or 4x4’s more easily. Finally! A nice upgrade for this little guy. If you aren’t using some sort of vac while sanding, definitely consider it. This new option has a “tool activated” setting. This means you plug your tool into the vac and it automatically comes on when you begin using the tool. Rockler also has fixed length hoses if you aren’t wanting the expandable version like you see here. I will say it is convenient to outfit your smaller power tools with the click connect ports so you can easily connect to your shop vac. @rockler_woodworking for the deets.

I had some edge clamps that looked like a “C”…sometimes called 3 way clamps. They were horrible and slipped way too easily. But these edge clamps by Bessey @besseytools_northamerica are impressive! Make sure the surfaces are dust free as well as the clamping heads. Then they grab and tighten strongly!

I just wanna say thank you to everyone who has stuck around for all the shop set up content. It’s coming to an end as I am close to being fully set up, other than the new big thing coming. It has been nearly 8 months of chipping away — it starting with electrical, epoxy floors, insulation, new machinery set up, and more all while taking care of home & fam, fulfilling laser orders, and doing content for a living.
