A group of Gen Zers have founded their own micronation nestled within the Balkans. The Free Republic of Verdis, whose citizenry is heavily made up of disaffected Croats and Serbs, aims to be a new nation focused on environmentalism and human rights. Verdisian President @danieljacksonvs spoke about the fight for recognition and the emerging nation’s run-ins with Croatian authorities on land nobody claims.
