Mini Egg Easter Nests 🪺🍫 Another fantastic idea to try!! An easy and sweet idea for your Easter!! 🐣 Thank you @amylouisecrispy.x 🫶🏻 It’s nearly Easter which basically means Mini Egg season and these might just be one of the easiest little treats you can make. These couldn’t be simpler to make… They are great to make with the kids and perfect if you need a quick Easter bake. Ingredients: 1 roll of puff pastry Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread which is much better IMO 1 bag Mini Eggs Method 1️⃣ Take your puff pastry out of the fridge about 30 minutes before using. 2️⃣ Preheat your oven to 200°C/ 400F. 3️⃣ Unroll the pastry and smother half of it in Nutella. 4️⃣ Fold the pastry over so the Nutella is sandwiched inside, then press around the edges with a fork to stop too much chocolate escaping. 5️⃣ Cut the pastry into strips, twist them and roll into little nest shapes. 6️⃣ Brush with egg wash and bake for around 20 minutes until golden and cooked through. 7️⃣ Once cooled, add a dollop of Nutella on top and place a few Mini Eggs in the centre. 8️⃣ Finish with a dusting of icing sugar (not essential but makes them look extra pretty). Top tip: Pop your Nutella jar into a jug of warm water for a few minutes before spreading – it loosens it up and makes it much easier to spread on the pastry. MINI EGG CORNFLAKE BARS ✨ A little ASMR baking 🫶 These beauties taste so good, the perfect no bake Easter recipe. 🐣 I absolutely love cornflake nests but had no muffin cases so decided to make them as a traybake. 👌🏻 Make sure to pack the mixture down well into the tin so they will slice nicely once set. Tag who would love these in the comments💕 & don’t forget to save the recipe for later 📌 Follow my page for lots of more easy & delicious recipes @rachel.hornibrook 100g butter 350g milk or dark chocolate 1 tbsp golden syrup Pinch of salt 130g cornflakes 40g mini eggs Loaf tin, greased & lined Melt the butter, 250g chocolate & golden syrup together over a Bain Marie (or in 30 second bursts in the microwave). Add in the cornflakes & pinch of salt. Pack it well into the lined loaf tin. Melt the remaining 100g chocolate and spread on top. Slightly bash up the mini eggs and scatter over. Set for at least 2 hours in the fridge. Slice and enjoy. This makes 8-10 large bars or you can cut up into smaller squares if you prefer. Mini Egg Easter Flower Nests 🌸🍫 These are so cute and the perfect little Easter treat 🐣🍫 Method Roll out your puff pastry and cut out flower shapes using a cookie cutter. Gently press each flower into a cupcake or muffin tin, pressing the centre down with your thumb so it takes the shape of the tin. Use a fork to prick the middle so it doesn’t puff up too much. Brush with egg wash and bake at 180°C (fan) for around 10–12 minutes until golden. You can also pop them in the air fryer until crisp and golden. Leave to cool completely before filling. Chocolate buttercream 200g softened butter 300g icing sugar, sifted 35g cocoa powder 60ml milk 1 tsp vanilla extract Beat the butter until smooth. Add the icing sugar and cocoa powder gradually, then mix in the milk and vanilla until light and fluffy. Pipe the buttercream into the centre of each pastry flower and top with mini eggs. Finish with a light dusting of icing sugar. The easiest little Easter bake but they look so pretty on the table 🌸🐣 Enjoy! #minieggs #easterfood #easyrecipes #flowernests

MINI EGG EASTER NESTS 🪺 Ingredients: •12 Ritz crackers (standard size) •125g butter •125g brown sugar (just over half a cup firmly packed) •120g white chocolate drops •120g milk chocolate drops •Mini eggs to decorate - some smashed, some whole Method: •Preheat oven to 180°C •Line muffin tins with cupcake liners •Pop a Ritz cracker into the bottom of each one •In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over a medium heat. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Once boiling, allow the mixture to bubble away and boil for between 2 to 3 minutes as it comes together and thickens •Remove from the heat and drop a spoonful of the caramel onto each Ritz cracker •Pop into the oven and bake for 5-8 minutes until golden (keep a close eye cos they can burn quickly) •Take out of the oven and top immediately with a mix of both white and milk chocolate drops. Once the drops start to soften, use a skewer or the back of a spoon to gently swirl chocolate around •Top with mini eggs •Refrigerate to set and store in an airtight container Happy Easter! 🐣🐰
