Lange haben wir uns vor dem Badezimmer gedrückt, weil wir nicht so richtig wussten wie es aussehen soll. Dabei haben wir mal wieder gemerkt, dass es manchmal ein bisschen Zeit braucht bevor es weitergehen kann. In den letzten Tagen kamen dann auf einmal die Ideen und wir waren richtig motiviert weiter zu machen. Und wenn es richtig Spaß macht und der Flow da ist, wird es einfach immer am besten!Wir sind auf jeden Fall total happy mit der Entwicklung bis jetzt und haben schon große Lust darauf noch den Waschtisch und die Badewanne zu bauen, und natürlich die ganzen kleinen Details die dem Raum Leben einhauchen. I love this result. Right now, it’s really hard for me to find the motivation to make books. I’d be happy to tell you the reasons if you’d like. But I’m so happy that I made this book yesterday—just for you, for some great new videos. And I’ve separated out individual steps so I can create detailed videos, helping you understand the process better. Like attaching the elastic band and making the headband from the cover fabric. Interacting with you and getting your feedback is what drives me. Because bookbinding is such a wonderful hobby, and I want you to experience it the way I do. 💜 Ich liebe dieses Ergebnis. In order to depict that initial intimidating feeling of arriving at a new unfamiliar destination, just like my recent trip to Europe, I created an old, imaginary European town out of milk cartons (some of you guessed it!). With an oil painting style in mind, I focused on constructing that cold, seemingly unwelcoming atmosphere and playing with the light and shadow combination. The process took a while but the final outcome seemed to hit the mark. I miss spring. In spring, you can make paper and let it dry on the balcony, and you have much better light for recording videos. In this video, I use paper I made myself indoors (a super cool hobby) and paper I designed myself outdoors. I really love this deep blue. Ich vermisse den Frühling.
