MISO SOY SAUCE BUTTERED NOODLES 🧈 Everyone is adding soy sauce to their buttered noodles, but I added miso too and it was a game changer for savory comfort food 🤤 I used 2x the butter showed in the video, but measure with your heart ⬇️ Ingredients: Pasta Butter Soy sauce Low sodium miso paste Parmesan cheese Pasta water Black pepper To make: 1. Cook pasta and save some pasta water 2. Add butter, a few splashes of pasta water, a splash of soy sauce, and a tsp of miso paste to the cooked pasta, then mix it quickly on low heat to form a buttery sauce 3. Add lots of Parmesan, mix again, top with more Parmesan and black pepper, and enjoy

If you use water, it lacks umami and just becomes a salty soup. Even in Japan, beginners sometimes don’t know this and make it with water. Sticky Miso Soy Glazed Salmon Bowls 🍚✨ FULL RECIPE BELOW 👇 recipe 1 1/2 lbs salmon, skin removed, cut into large cubes neutral oil for searing 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 heaping tbsp brown sugar 1 1/2 tbsp miso paste 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 1/2 tsp grated ginger 2 small cloves grated garlic 2–3 tbsp water rice avocado edamame scallions thinly sliced carrots thinly sliced cucumbers optional spicy drizzle 2 tbsp kewpie mayo 1–2 tsp sriracha Add the cubed salmon to a glass dish. Pour the soy sauce, brown sugar, miso, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and water directly over the salmon and toss with tongs until evenly coated. Heat a nonstick pan over medium high with neutral oil. Add the salmon cubes in a single layer and immediately pour all the remaining sauce from the dish over the top. Cook about 6–8 minutes total, turning the cubes as they sear so each side gets golden and caramelized. The sauce will bubble and reduce as it cooks, thickening and coating the salmon in a glossy glaze. Build your bowl over rice with avocado, edamame, carrots, cucumbers, and scallions. Spoon all that extra sticky glaze over the top and finish with the spicy mayo. Enjoy!
