Recently I got a behind-the-scenes look at the Missing Link Project — soon to be one of Maharashtra’s largest and most transformative infrastructure landmarks. This mega-link will bring Mumbai and Pune closer, shave off around 30 minutes of travel time and save roughly ₹1 crore of fuel every single day. 🚗⚙️ Had the honour of speaking with Shri Anilkumar Gaikwad, MD — MSRDC, about the project’s huge relevance for our state. His answers were pure genius: he walked us through the engineering challenges, the precision and sheer grit required to build something of this scale. It really puts into perspective how much goes into modern infrastructure. We also talked about whether the Missing Link could become a tourist attraction like the Bandra-Worli Sea Link — and I believe it can. That’s why we appealed to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to consider creating a dedicated viewing spot so people can appreciate this beautiful and massive structure up close.
