#mongoose #animal #auspicious #sign #symbologluck #wealth #financialabundance #financialgain #prosperity #bhagwanvishnu #kuber #blessings #trending #viral #reels #video सदर व्हिडिओ ©️@angelic.the_love.and.light या अधिकृत अकाउंट वरून चोरुन कोणीही, सोशल मीडियावर कुठेही अपलोड केलेला आढळल्यास कायदेशीर कारवाई केली जाईल.

This little guy has become part of my life so much that he definitely deserves a reel here 😊 Garfield is a yellow mongoose. Here are a few interesting facts about his kind: 1.Yellow mongooses are native to southern Africa and thrive in arid regions like the Kalahari Desert. Their thick fur and burrowing lifestyle help them survive the heat. 🥵 2. They’re diurnal, meaning they’re active during the day - often seen basking in the morning sun before going off to forage. ☀️ 3. They’re excellent diggers and either create their own burrows or move into abandoned ones - sometimes cohabiting with ground squirrels or meerkats. 🐿️ 4. Their diet mainly consists of insects, especially termites and beetles, but they’ll also eat small reptiles, eggs, and the occasional fruit or root. 🪲 5. Their bushy tails aren’t just for show - they use them for communication, balance, and sometimes even as a decoy to confuse predators. 🐆 6. While often seen alone, yellow mongooses aren’t strictly solitary. They form loose family groups and sometimes share burrow systems. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 7. They’re known to be quick and bold when facing small snakes - some mongooses have even been spotted mobbing puff adders. We have observed them killing a puff adder twice already this year. 🐍 8. In colder months, their fur grows thicker and changes color slightly - more grayish or reddish depending on the region. 🥶 9. Like meerkats, they’re super vigilant. When standing on hind legs, they scan for birds of prey and jackals, their main predators. 🦅 10. They use anal gland secretions to mark their territory - leaving little messages for other mongooses. ✉️

Time heals! ❤️ As rehabilitators, we often get the opportunity to observe the wildlife under our care up close and personal. This young mongoose was handed over by the Mumbai Range of the forest department after it was found abandoned near Andheri's Mahakali Caves. Wailing among young mammals for long hours is indicative of discomfort or stress or trauma due to separation. This little one too was screeching continuously for hours after rescue and did not accept the food for a day. A day later, after our rehabilitator noted down its minute details, food patterns, preferences, sleep schedules, and most importantly how they are responding to the care, we realized that it is best to allow it more time to settle down and explore the new location after rescue. By the second day, it showed remarkable progress as it fed on it and was no longer wailing. Rehabilitating such animals requires patience. Rehabbers need to equip themselves emotionally to respond and not react to the responses of the animal under rehab. As caregivers, we experience some of the most precious moments exhibited by the wildlife under our care that often go undocumented. Above all, time is the greatest healer of all times. Native to Indian Sub Continent and West Asia, these small wild mammals are often seen living around human settlements in villages, towns, and even cities other than their forest habitats. They prey on reptiles, rodents, small birds, and other invertebrates. They are mainly solitary animals that are also seen in groups during and post-mating, mostly active during the early mornings and early evenings. . . . . . . #rescue #mongoose #mammal #wildlife #sos #emergency #lift #elevator #mammalsofig #video #reels #feelitreelit #reelsindia #viral #reelsinstagram #instagram #reelitfeelit #trending #love #viral #explore #instagood #explorepage #reelkarofeelkaro #india #photography #instadaily #reelsvideo
