So here’s the difference I want to show. One edge is sanded to 600 grit and burnished—no flash of light when I tilt it. The other edge went to 2000 grit, and you can see the flash line run along that mirror finish. Now, most customers won’t notice this difference—but it’s the kind of detail another leather worker will spot when they handle a piece.
